We are now 3 more years into our altered journey.  And life is good...really good.  It is a new day, a new year, a new decade...and there will be new adventures!  Yay!

Let’s get this party started!

Let's begin with where we are...

Today is a cool rainy morning in "sunny" Southern California.  My hubby and I began our lives together in the suburbs of Philadelphia, PA.  We've been married for almost 37 years and  we have now lived in the suburbs of San Diego for the last 11 years.

As I sit here on a cool, rainy January morning, I can't help but remark about the weather.  We haven't had much substantial rain in most of the years we have been in southern California, but...

We've probably had more rain in the last month or two than we've had in the first 11 years combined.  And everything around us is so green!  I've always loved the landscape where we live, but love it even more in it's "new" lush green condition.

We are truly blessed!

So now, where are we on our altered journey?  

Hubby and I are in the midst of the school year, raise our 4 grandsons.  There have been many trials and tribulations along the way, but we are seeing the light AND all of the blessings that have been bestowed upon us. 

And so, it is a great time to start documenting the rest of our journey...
